|World Premiere:||15/03/2011 by Students of the Conservatory of Paris @ Salle d’Orgue, Conservatory of Paris – Paris (FR)|
|About:||This work was written while my studies at the Conservatory of Paris in the “XXth Century Music Writing” class. The main author to study was Anton Webern (1883-18945), that’s why this piece is deliberately based on his composing style.
Erwartungen was my first “serious” try on dodecaphonic writing (followed by Augenblicke).
The main goal of this piece was to work on rhythms and musical form, which is pretty subtle.
